Latino Arts Strings Program Applications

Solamente alumnos de las escuelas BGCS pueden ser considerados para participar en el Programa De Cuerdas de Latino Arts para tocar violín, viola, violoncello o guitarra. Las solicitudes para el Programa de Cuerdas se aceptaran hasta el 30 de Abril del 2024, 11:59 pm CST. El proceso consiste de estos pasos:

  1. Llenar la solicitud en la parte inferior de la pájina. Solo alumnos en K4-2do grado, durante el año escolar 2023-24, pueden aplicar.
  2. Asistir a la reunion de padres el 7 de Mayo del 2024, at 5:30 PM en el auditorio de Latino Arts. (Por favor anote la fecha en su calendario)
  3. En Mayo, los solicitantes, cuyos padres asistan a la reunion informativa, participarán en un asesoramiento con los maestros del programa.
  4. Los alumnos eligirán cual instrumento quieren tocar - violin, viola, cello o guitarra.
  5. Se hará un sorteo para elegir a los nuevos alumnos.  Solo pueden participar en el sorteo los alumnos cuyas familias han cumplido con todos los pasos del proceso. 

El cupo es limitado y los alumnos serán seleccionados por medio de un sorteo.  Solo los alumnos cuyos padres completen estos pasos serán incluidos en el sorteo. English:

Only students in the BGCS schools can be considered to participate in the Latino Arts Strings Program to play violin, viola, cello or guitar. Applications will close at 11:59 pm CST on April 30, 2024. The application process has several steps:

  1. Fill out the application below. Only students in K4-2nd grade during this 2023-24 school year should apply. 
  2. Attend the parent meeting on May 7th, 2023 at 5:30PM, in the Latino Arts Auditorium. (Please mark the date on your calendar)
  3. During May, all applicants whose parents attended the information meeting, will participate in an assessment with LASP instructors.
  4. Students must select what instrument they want to play - violin, viola, cello or guitar. 
  5. We will carry out a lottery selection. Only students whose families have fulfilled all the steps of the process will be included in the lottery. 

There are a very limited number of spots for the program and students will be selected by lottery. Only students whose parents complete these steps will be included in the lottery.
