Figueroa has been performing with his Latin Jazz Explosion since 2001, and his progressive sound and inimitable style have earned him a place in the ears and hearts of jazz fans throughout the world. Figueroa's technical skill and creativity have also helped him develop percussion clinics that are renowned throughout the United States.
